Anyone ever seen these? I got my new s14 not too long ago, but I didnt notice at the time of purchase, but it has very strange 7 sided lug nuts, no doubt some sort of special theft deterrant. Anyways..the old owner didnt give me any kinda of a key so i have to figure a way to get them off....any ideas? theyre fairly small..couldnt be larger that 14-15mm in diameter. Help me get em off!!!

take it to Discount tire, or any tire place, they have special Locking lugnut removals... they hammer them on, and impact the som' bishez off..

some places will even do it for free... just make sure you have new lugs to replace the old ones with.

you just need the lug nut wrench, or a 7 sided socket add on. Unless your own are actually wierd and need a "key" :S

I'm getting 7 sided lug nuts. Theives don't usually carry around the tools to take em off, they cost some $$$ lol

It's probably the kyokugen lug nuts, very popular 7 sided one. Bring it to a tire shop and they'll know almost instantly.

Actually, the ones planning on jacking your rims will carry around a set of all different kinds of lug keys - at least in my area .

I've got the exact same lugnuts, in gunmetal, along with the lug nut key. No one's stealing my Buddy Clubs I can get my buddy who owns a shop in Durham to get you the specific lug nut socket for around $35 or so.. Yeah, not exactly cheap, but cheaper than stripping your nuts.

You're very lucky then, 97ka-t .

If you determine that you are using the kyokugen, you can get it for $20 shipped:

Just grab a socket thats a little bigger then the lug nut and hammer it over the old lug then attatch a breaker bar and turn. Thats how we steal rims with locks in tha hood...
