$7,500. for a car and set up.what would you do?

Kinda intrested in what you guys/gals would do if you had $7,500 to buy a car and hook it up(turbo,supercharger,looks).

$7,500 is just just enough to give you a good taste of speed(in some cars).

Definitely an S13 hatch with a blown motor.

Then of course an S13 redtop SR20DET-include catback, turbo timer, boost controller, etc.

Something like a Tein Coilover kit

A nice staggered set of lightweight 18" wheels and tires.

I think I'd be good to go...maybe put any extra money into a RHD conversion

I'd buy a 510,

strip it down to body.

Fix Rust

paint it ferrari red everywhere except undery body which would get a nice weatherproof flat black.

Chrome Bumpers

make sure lights are in good condition, maybe add some power to them

put a KA24E in it

5 speed transmission

New Driveshaft

New halfshafts

Maybe a LSD

nice struts and shocks and springs

replace rubber in suspension.

replace seats inside.

carpet,

dash,

350 watt stereo system.

classic 15" wheels.

miscellaneos interior bits

I'm sure there is some stuff I forgot.... Might run 7,500-13,500...

would anyone buy a talon tsi,older rx7,older supra and hook it up? or would the s13 be your best bet (reliablity wise)

With the Talon and RX7 maintenance issues come to mind. With the older Supra..I'd be more worried about the aftermarket as well as its own potential (though I must admit I don't know much about the older Supras).

A Civic hatch with an H22 would seriously FLY...but then you get the all-too-lovely FWD as well :sad
