Dear All

i would like to ask for commends for which way should I go...

1) 6th Speed manual gearbox - V160 from Supra 2jzgteor2) stick the the VH41DE auto gearbox and modified it with - Level ten TC,vavle body, PTS, clutches, manualised. etc.. fully done up.

My application is mainly for: 1) 60% track2) 30% drag3) 10% drift

Please help to state the perfomance between the 2options for each application

PLease help to state the cost difference between the 2options also.

I am just driving the car more for personally use. No intention of joining professional race..maybe some local small race

Please advise which one is good for me.

Please note I do drive the car on road sometimes (2 times a week) and the traffic in Bangkok sucks big time. I can't imagine having myself struck in a traffic jam with a heavy duty twin plate clutch.. for 2 hours....

Thanks a million.

RegardsDerrick FR->MR VH41DE BMW318is

Consider the friction loss between a clutch and a torque convertor. Consider the parasitic drain in the AT internal pump.

You say track as in road course 60% than manual transmission is your only choice.
