6th cylinder not firing

hey any help with this would be greatly appreciated.just got my freshly rebuilt rb20det into my laurel all wired up and after all the unforseen stuff that always happens im completely stumped as to how to get rid of a miss. its the 6th cyinder and iv eliminated the following as causes: spark plug,coil pack, ignitor pack, injector and wiring from the ignitor to the coil pack. please help cos i wana go driving!!!

Im going through the same problem on my rb25 neo. Word on the street is that after all youve checked, it must be the ecu. Im testing that theory this weekend, and ill post up my findings.

How would i go about checking the injector?

Pull the spark plug, turn the key in the ON position and see if you can smell fuel strongly from that cylinder. If you can, then you know the injector is opening when it shouldn't.

I didnt mean that i was going to reset the ecu. Im trying a completely different one because i suspect mine is faulty.

got it going. it was a loose wire in the ecu
