6cd audio issue.

Hello, this question is for those of you with the 6cd changer. I want to listen to all songs from my 6 cds in all cd random mode. When i hear a song that i dont like how do i go to the next random song. When i press the left up arrow it will just go back to the single cd mode.

Hmmmm...on mine, it just skips to the next track of the CD it's currently on, but continues on random play thereafter.

havent try that , have to check the manual and im not sure what is RPT

i checked and there is no sign of skipping in random mode( RDM), at least i didn't find it.

RPT means repeat

Holding the button will get you to track 1 of the next or previous CD. Unlike an iPod or most stereos, this stereo does NOT randomize with the "next track/next disc" button. Mildly annoying. I just end up thumbing through to a track I want to listen to, then it randomizes again when it's done with that track.

IF you use your controls on the steering wheel, you should be able to randomnize the songs and cd simultaneously. I accidentally bumped into that feature the other day.

If you find that feature again, please let us know, because I've never been able to random skip via the seek/track button. It always does like the others said and jumps directly to the next track, then resumes random on the next song. More than mildly annoying.

mine goes to the next random song/cd.i just dont know how to shut random mode off!!!i just hit the power button on and off and back to normanl.

Hitting the rpt/random mode button until the display views "repeat all" will make it play all songs sequentially until the end of the disc, then switch to the next disc and continue on.

Yeah, so is this a feature, or the lack of a feature, cause it freaking drives me crazy...i want to be able to skip a song and have it randomly select the next track, but all it does when I skip a song (in random mode), is go to the next sequential track, no matter what...even holding the seek button on the steering wheel or whatever does not fix the problem...a very dumb design for a stereo...
