6800rpm??!?

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

well.. got the SAFC2 on.. and now have some what of a tach.. and we now see that my limit is at 6800 RPM.. anyone ever had this problem.. i belive that the 25 is spodda rev to 7500??....

7500 IS WHAT I'VE BEEN TOLD. MAYBE THE TACH IS WRONG?

no 6800 on a rb25det is right

???? rev to what you make power too, and your block can handle, dont rev as high as you can just to you can

I KNOW HOW REDLINES WORK, I'M DESIGNING A COUPLE ENGINES RIGHT NOW, BUT EVERYONE I HAVE TALKED TO ABOUT THE RB25 SAYS IT CAN REV TO 7500.

On my PFC it came preset to 6800 so I eould guess thats what stock is.

everything I have read from japan and australia say its redline stock is 6.8

Maybe 7500 after valve springs maybe?

if ya do valve springs, might as go all the way while the heads off and do the full jun head.. that replaces the hydro lifters... so ya can rev it too 11k

different years and crap might be different but there is a difference in redline and ignition cut, if that is what you are talking about.
