'67 520 throttle cable required

Just purchased this 520, needs some tlc, purchased a replacement t-cable off of ebay and it didn't fit.Help?oem cable has been shortened would be repaired if it was long enough...Regards,Bill

just found another online vendor so i hope I have the t-cable issue licked.truck currently has 205/70-14 tires on it that rub front and rear.I see getting the oem 6x14 is a pita, what is the tire size consensus here?Regards,Bill

the t cable is just like a bicycle cable you just take the cable out of the sleeve and go down to the hardware store and but a longer cable and some wire ends and make a new one
