Ok guys my s13 redtop came with brand new 650cc deatchwerks injectors and im just wandering if they will be large enough for a gt2871 / .86...????

Go 740cc. With a good tune you will have no drivability issues and get near 30mpg if you drive conservative.

Sorry it will be a gt2871r .64 for now, should i still go 740cc injectors??

It's better to have more head room with bigger injectors if you can get them tuned.

What will you be tuning with?

The following are for pump gas. You can run higher HP numbers with these sizes if you use race gas.

550cc-good to ~300whp 650cc-good to ~350whp740cc-good to ~400whp

So yes, I'd go with the 740's and a good ROM tune.

Injectors and Power is based alot of fuel pressure. 740cc and 43psi fuel pressure will max around 450whp. Bump it up to 50psi and they flow almost enough for 500whp. 650cc will flow enough for 400whp on stock pressure.

^^^I have to agree with ^^^^ him. you could go bigger, but you dont need to for the 2871r. How much power are you trying to make and what is the car going to be used for? Those are things you should include to get better help from people.

Well the car is mostly a street car weekend race car, mostly drag raceing at the motor is built, heres the info on the build

red top sr20det cp 86.5 8.5x1 pistonseagle h beam rodsacl race bearingsall arp fasteners, main studs, head studs, rod boltsapexi 1.5mm headgasketbrian crower 264 stage 2 cams brian crower valve springs & retainers greddy intake manifold light head workgt2871r .64 turbo MR header, elbow, downpipe and apexi n1 catback all 3" act street lite flywheel and some other small stuff looking to put down around 400rwhp
