I just picked this up on friday, I started taking it apart saturday to put airbags on it, it has a mazda rx7 rotary engine, it ran the 1/4 mile in 14.8 and is fast, but I needed to bag it, the rear was pretty cut up, nice body though, ill post pics I progress with the truck

Glad to see the step notch.....I was a bit worried about the C notch not being finished in one of the earlier pics.

Sweet!

Ya the first c-notch was done by the previous owner, not the greatest, but it held together

My son's seriously into Mazda's and has been bugging me to put one in my 65...
I told him to buy me one and he said he might...
we'll see....he's have to bring it up from Vegas:D

Ya ill try and get some pics of the engine mounts and front end, you have to cut out the old tranny hump and raise it and the driveshaft hump, but it is fast, really fast and fun to drive, kinda thinking about putting in a roll cage and 4 point harnesses for safety

here it is finally layed out flat, took alot of cutting and fabrication in the front, but I finally got it as low as it will go, going to start on the body drop this weekend, hopefully wont run into as much problems as I did the front suspension

I had to cut the tranny cross member and raise it, and the engine cross bar, cut it flat with the a-arm mounts and raise the bar up, and also cut and c-notch the frame for bag clearance, ill post pic of the front suspension before I paint everything, it tucks those 15" pathfinder wheels pretty good though, probably going to get 18's, with low profiles, or 15's with white walls, have'nt decided yet

Looks good laid out. What brand of bag did you go with in the front? I know the 620 front frame sections have to be C'd to clear the bag unless you use a Conitech or Slam bag RE-5. Look forward to more pics, mainly of the raised crossmembers;)

I mocked it up with a firestone gold bag, but ill probably end up using a conitech 2500's all around, ya ill post some pics of the cross members when i take it apart again, probably after the body drop
