Some of you have seen this truck posted here before, I love this little truck, but got tired of braking down with my kids in the truck on our way to home depot or a local car show. So i hooked up with local Motors and decided to convert this vintage truck into a Modern Electric Vintage Truck. We removed the origional drivetrain and installed a VW rear suspension and mounted local motors all in one, electric motor, gear assembly and control modules with electronic throttle control. As soon as i can figure out how to post pictures, i will post pics of the project and the final outcome.

Thanks Nathan Babbitt

We took the truck to SEMA, to show the truck and the electric motor assembly, Car & Driver recognized it as one of their Top Picks for SEMA 2016. We were excited about that, and people really liked the truck, so many people had no idea what it was.

It's really cool and all, but you really have not showed much, like how the VW rear assembly was mounted and used, it would just be cooler if you showed us how it was done in detail.
