Okay guys, I've recently bought a Nissan Altima SE 3.5 manual 6 speeds with 104k miles on it. I bought it at the dealership for 2800$ CAD, super deal I thought. But here are the serious problems so far: When I drive and I reach 15 miles, I start to hear a noise that is similar to worn out wheel bearings, but it seems to stop for couple milliseconds when my front tires do a complete rotation to continue after that and repeat the cycle. It's kinda like a super fast pulsing noise that sounds like a wheel bearing. Maybe something is bent? I also noticed that the car seems to have an uneven side, like a bad tire or rim but I also changed the rim with my other car and it sound the same...

Now for my other problem. I don't know what could be the cause, but when I stop and put it in 1st gear and slowly depress the clutch at 3k or more I can hear a grinding noise that is super loud and that sound like a stripped gear. It's hard to reproduce it and doesn't do it all the time. Also, when I shift from 2nd to 3rd at around 25 mph, I can hear a little noise and feel something like a mini grinding noise without high pitch. It does not do it if I put in the shifter in 3rd gear really slowly and smoothly. By the way my driver window does not go down and my back passenger door is stuck even tho I can clearly feel that the lock moves and the mechanism attached to the handle too.

If anyone had any of these problems so far, please help me!

Sorry to say but it sounds like you bought a lemon.

Can't see it being a lemon for $2800 CANADIAN. That's a great deal, especially if you are handy at working on cars.

My suggestion is to take it to a local shop for diagnostics on transmission and wheel bearings/half shafts (CV Joint). At least you will know what the issues are.

If the repairs are something you can do, take the advice from the mechanic and fix what you can or have them do it.

Well, I already got both front wheel bearings for super cheap. I might need to buy the CV joints tho ;-;

My usual advice when considering any used car purchase is to take it to a mechanic that you know and trust or one that is reputable and have them look it over prior to purchasing it.

Did the dealer/person that you bought the car from mention any issues with the vehicle before you purchased it.

Also, Sorry about my previous lemon comment. I was having a bit of a bad day when I wrote it and apparently it came out in my typing.

My god, it's nothing Rob. It's not like you insulted me. By the way, I couldn't do that. Because dealers do not allow this for used cars, here. But I knew he was hiding something from me though, but as long as the engine is working, everything else is can be repaired (except exhaust) for a cheap price. That's what I think...:')

This sounds like the throwout bearing is heavily worn. To replace it, you'll need to remove the transmission.

Throw out bearing like said and the noise that pulsates is in the driveline as in CV axles to further out in power flow. The internals of a manual trans turn too fast to get sounds that stop/start in pulses. Maybe a pass side axle intermediate bearing if equipped with them. 2-3 'mini-grinding' likely a dead/dying synchro ring in trans or again the throwout. Lock is likely latch assembly, Nissan has fits with those and good luck there. Window? Fix it! Regulator, we can't do EVERYTHING for you................wanting the 500 page book there. Look at your mounts too.
