i dont know bro havent heard of any, maybe custom bellhousing adapter so u can used a 350z 6 speed transmission? who knows. but tomei, hks, greddy do make upgraded gearing for the s13, and oh btw u can used a s15 transmission which is 6 speed, if u have an sr20det ... and i think they do make adapter plates so u might be able to use it on ur ka

with a KA transmission you can use L28 transmission from a 280z and it will have longer gear ratios, which is better for top speed. I got a 6speed transmission in my 240...... but its not attached to a KA or SR so.... yeah you really are not going to be able to do what your looking to do

Those 6speed S15 SR transmission's are garbage, they packed so many gears in such a small place that they had to make them thinner. They are notchy and noisy, very prone to "misshifts" and other transmission woes.

this is true, they cant handle much power, not too sure about abuse though, but it cant be too good. They have become the "glass transmission" from nissan.

I do remember emailing OS Giken once about something i saw in a magazine, but they said that you could use the gear sets for the SR transmission. Plus, correct me if i am wrong but cant you just swap out the bell housings to use an SR transmission on a KA?

I'd suggest not trying to bump a thread an hour later on a page that doesn't get as much traffic as the general areas, especially when you're talking about bumping in the 1:00 am section when you could have looked for an answer yourself.

yes you can get different gear boxes to run on the sohc. but why? the gear sets will cost more than your car.
