AMZ sells them for $9k and also sells the Tomei sequential 6-speed for $13k. For most street car setups, you'll have a wide enough power band that the 5-speed would be more beneficial, especially when it comes to highway fuel economy.
If you're building an all out race car where you have a narrow power band up in the redline area, these trannies would definitely be the way to go as the closer gear ratios would keep you in the power band better (much like a standard N/A engine setup with a 6-speed). In the end though, most boosted cars tend to do better with wider gearing really.
