Hello everyone, just wondering if anyone has experienced problems with the push start button. For the last 2 weeks intermittently, when I push the start button it will just continue to turn without turning over fully unless i press the accelerator...Anyone have this problem? I dropped it off at the shop today and they kept it...said they have never had this problem yet...Any help?

In all my time here, that's a first that I've heard. Please keep us updated on the problem.

By the way, welcome to NICO!

Sounds like you're having a problem with your fuel injection... remember waayyyy back in the day, for non fuel injection engines, you used to have to pump the accelerator to get fuel in the engine before starting the car. That sounds like the problem you're having! But I'm no mechanic, ask linknut! Good luck and keep us posted!

They have to replace the fuel pump!? You've got to be kidding me.

Out of curiosity. What model. 2.5 or 3.5? And also how many miles and when did you purchase it?

Once again, more and more problems with the first-gen Altima Coupe. Go figure.

You know, this is my 4th Nissan and I've never had this many problems with any of the other ones like I'm having with this Altima. I love my car but all these nagging problems are getting pretty irritating.
