Hey guys im looking at an 05 350z which i want to buy this week but i was wondering if any of you guys would know how to survive in the winter months. I live in fargo,nd as a student at NDSU and we have really random winters. I know i set of winter tires and a car cover for when i need to park it would be a good thing to do but if any of you guys have any other tricks or accessories in which i should be informed about i would greatly appreciate your response.

but if you have to drive it through winter dont buy a base, get winter tires, a good car cover (park it inside if avalible) and be prepared to spend alot of time washing the car

Yes, I agree with what LAKE ERIE Z32 said.

I also recommend washing the car a lot, but also make sure to wash the under side of the car.

I don't know if they do this where you are, but I know in some parts of Oregon they do. In winter they put salt on some roads so that the snow melts a lot faster. This is what eats away at the metal in our cars. That and all the moisture. So I recommend you spend a good amount of time washing the under side.

I would recommend using one of those adapters that home owners use to clean windows that they cannot reach on the second floor. It connects to the water hose and has a canister where you place soap or car wash. Just make sure to dump and clean the other cleaning agent that is used for windows. You don't want that on your paint.

I think that would be the easiest way to clean the underside.

But experiment and see what works best for you.

Have fun driving that Z

That sounds like a good deal to me. I got my 04 with 22k miles for $16700. What trim is it?
