Is there an alternative lug patern that will fit on the original 6 lug pattern? I could sware Ive seen these trucks with four lug wheels on them. Or do need some kind of conversion kit.

Well, I can tell you that the 1969 521 that I bought last weekend has 6 lug front and rear, and the originals were 4 lug. I don't know yet if they changed the entire differential in the rear, but the fronts they just changed the backing plate, drum and hub.

I want 4 lug rims because thee choices of 6 lug rims is very limited. I am going to go with the old slot mags from the 70's for now.

Well after looking very closely under my truck, it seems they swapped the entire rear end out of a 620 pickup, and as I said before, the front backing plated and the drums in the front from a 620 as well.

So if you can find a 521, you will need the front backing plates and drums and the rear end. That will get you 4 bolt rims.

I don't know of any kind of adapter that will change from 6 to 4 lug, but I do know there are a lot of rims out there with a "universal" lug pattern. Good luck. Chris.

4x4 chevy, up to the newest i think, will fit with some milling of the center bore. that goes for caddy as well. also mazda, isuzu, and later model nissan (titan, frontier, hardbody and pathfinder) will fit as well. but as said before, some mods to the center bore of the wheel may be nessessary.
