6 gen Max to 6.5 front end conversion

I've read you can swap headlight, front bumper and grille on a 6 gen to the 6.5 of you do all three parts.
1.) Can anyone confirm this who has done it?
2.) I assume the headlight and daytime/turn signal lamps ate direct plug, but the fogs require wire modding, is this correct or did they change the harnesses all around?
