6 disc cd changer troubles

First I had driven my car all weekend on a decent road trip to get good highway miles on it and played lots of music with no problem and then let it sit all week and than I get into it today and get all the way into town do some driving around and then on my way to Hastings I try to play a cd and nothing it beeps and then it says "TEMP/MECH ERROR" and I mess with it some more and keep trying to eject or play a cd and nothing happens it just keeps beeping at me and then it says "PRESS EJECT" and then I press it and it turns on the radio and plays the stations but I cant get the cd's to come out or change and then I call the dealership and talk to my sales guy and he says"You might have to bring it in because my sedan does the same thing and it could be something else so we may have to look at it" which is okay but the dealership is about 45 miles away and it was going to be a huge inconvienience for my weekend but I messed with it some more and I finally got frustrated with it and left it alone for w while and then I could hear it clicking and then I hit the eject button again and it sounded like the slots clicked really hard and it continued to do it but now it works so I dont think its a major problem but I am going to give it the weekend to work itself out but if it happens again I will go to the dealership. I just wanted to mention it just in case it happens to someone else.
