my car is a 1990 stock 240sx hatchback.I took my car to the mechanic about a check engine light, and it was a code 45 (leaky injector). they took the fuel rail off and looked at some stuff, and he said the injectors weren't spraying right. he said they were spraying fuel and it was splashing off of the intake valve. he quoted me 620 bones for him to put 4 new injectors in. He said that I shouldn't try doing this myself because "for the 1990 240sx there are five or six different kinds of injectors, and you might not get the right ones." NOW, I am stupid, but that sounded odd to me. My question is, are there really 5 or 6 different kinds, and which ones could I put in? Also, I was wondering if putting in bigger injectors while I'm doing the work would be a bad idea or not. (my car is stock, so would the bigger injectors make it run bad until I got other mods?)
Thanks in advance, sorry if this is a question you answer frequently, but i searched and didn't find anything
