6 Cd Changer on the 99 infiniti i30 limited

Hi I have a Infiniti i30 limited which came with a 6 cd changer, but recently when i try to play it it would scroll thru all the cd's and then say no cd, i can hear the sound of it trying to pull a cd, what could be wrong is there an easy fix?

The easy fix, seriously, would be to get a modern radio that'll take SD and/or USB, and go all MP3. Having the changer repaired will probably cost upward of $200. No real way to guess what could be its problem. If you want to throw $10 at it, try one of the "CD Lens Cleaner" discs from anywhere. It actually worked for a friend of mine. None of us could believe it.
