Wow I just disassembled my first q45 engine.6 bolt main caps with a girdle over the top of them is crazy strong.I had a good time showing it to my bowtie buddies who get excited over a four bolt main engine. If anyone needs any internal engine parts check the classifieds for an engine I am parting out.

I didn't know that. 6 bolts is sick. Makes me wonder how a Q engine would do in one of those full throttle engine stand competitions. You know where they throttle an engine until it explodes. That'd be cool.

It's been mentioned several times by many NICO members, the VH is overbuilt.

It's very strong and if not for the >10:1 compression ratio the bottom end would easliy handle 8 to 10 psi of any forced induction for along time. Throwing 4-5 psi boost on a stock VH (assuming all injectors and such are good) is not a risky venture.

As I recall, the pistons are the only non-forged internal .
