What size are all the speakers?

Also, if you could, when you have a full load of deliveries snap a few shots if you can. Usually things can be arranged differently to allow a little room.

I'm not sure what you deliver, but if you cant fit a tiny fiberglass enclosure where I suggested it might be time for a bigger car

I converted the front 4x6 speakers to 6.5" and will be doing the same to the rear if i am going the mid-bass route.

I deliver full size boxes of catered food. Im not really fond of fiberglass since i am pretty bad at it and it gets everywhere when i use it for some reason. its not that i need a bigger car, its just the fact that the boxes can only be arranged a certain way because of the rear strut mounts and how they bulge into the hatch area. you know what im saying?

yeah, I've got it. Well, you could go with 6.5" "subs" in there rear. Power them with a dedicated amplifier with about 50~100w rms. That would give you a good bit of thump compared to full range speakers.

Also, in the front, to make up for the loss of full range in the back, go with a good set of components.

That would be a damn nice combo actually.

I'd mount an amp to the hatch lid.

that sounds pretty good. i just bought my double din head unit today its the pioneer AVIC-U310BT. i would have to mount the amp prolly under the seat or someplace since i need to remove the hatch lid/cover when putting the boxes back there for deliveries.

What's in the spare tire well? Can you take a picture? Might be able to squeeze something in there. But it'd have to be fiberglass...

a spare tire is in the spare tire well. lol. i could maybe mount my amp under there, but i would be nervous about any water getting in there as well.

Water gets in there?

That would suck...

Either way, there are options.

I'd say a set of 6.5 subs in the rear and a good set of 6.5 components in the front would be the way to go.

Use a single 4 channel amp with maybe 75w~100w RMS x 4. That would be a nice stealth setup.

you would power all 4 speakers from this amp? front components and rear subs? or just the subs with the amp?

All four.

Components need a dedicated amplifier. The HU only puts out about 12~15w of real power. That's not enough.

A single 4 channel amp is the way to go. I personally like Hifonics for their bang for the buck factor

Is it a 2 channel plus one channel for bass?

If it is that may work. As long as the sub channel can handle the two subs wired in parallel that'll work great.

Then use the two channels for the components.

What brand and model is it?

You'd have to use 8ohm subs to work with that amp in bridged mode.

Two of these in series would be very nice.

Watch the mounting depth though...

85w per speaker in series is not bad for 6.5" drivers. Kicker CVT shallow 6.5" subs would probably work as well
