Now that I have your attention...

In the past, there has been discussion about which speaker size will fit in the rear of the vert. These 6.5" speakers bolt directly into the stock mounting location, the only things you need to do are mount the speaker "upside down" and bend the little electrical clip thing back a bit and wrap it with electrical tape.

Don't be fooled by their low price, they are great speakers that are actually made by Rockford Fosgate. You can also put them in the front of the vert by making a couple of templates out of plywood or hardboard:

They sound great; comparable to 6.5" speakers that you'd pay $100 a pair for at Best Buy. I have them on all 4 corners of the vert, and they sound good even with the top down. I just put them in my NX today, too.

Still not planning on keeping the vert; I'll probably have it ready for sale in March. My gf drives it to work occasionally, but it usually just sits there now that we have the NX. Actually, once the vert is sold, I'm probably going to pick up another NX.

That might have been due to your amp or your Kia rattling apart. I have them hooked up to a 45W x 4 Pioneer deck and they sound fine until they are really loud.

Or maybe we have different definitions of "loud".

If we ever cross paths, I'll take you for a ride in the NX. You'll understand.
