hey guys...i dont know if its stupid question and if it is dont be a d!ck about it.. not into the audio lingo or dont really know anything about the wats and rms or all that stuff... as of right now im have a

Kenwood deck excelion dont really know much about it came with the caralpine door 4x6 speakersback 6 1/2 speakers are missingphoenix gold amp with a 2 10 eclipse ported box

well its all fine its just that the box i dont like its two big and with my rear strut bar in the back it takes up all the space. I like the subs but i really dont need that much bass in the car and it shakes the **** of of the car it makes the trunk rattle but i would want some more bass than just having regular 6 1/2 i was wondering if i could use these subshttp://www.partsexpress.com/pe...4-832i seen them on sub cars and was wondering if i could use them in the stock 6 1/2 locations?

and if these are the wrong ones can some one point me out to some good 6 1/2 with some bass

and once again i am a noob when it comes to this so please be nice

thanks

Check out JL's 6's subs. I have a few myself and they are pretty nice. You would need to build baffle behind them but that should be pretty straight forward.

Edit: I think I have an extra pair somewhere.

You'll want about 70-80w per speaker.

You still have an extra pair you want to get rid of?

Yeah, if 209 isn't interested. You will have to build small enclosures to put these in the rear deck of your Q just so your aware.

Those Tang Band subs are nice and if I only had a use for them, I would have bought some just a few weeks ago when they were on sale for 29.00. With 13mm of xmax, there's not many other 6.5" drivers in the world with more travel...

The sale, on PE, ended around 2-3 weeks ago. I was trying to figure out a way to use 4 of them as a midbass for a computer setup. I scrapped the idea and am currently one of four 15's (two are woofers, two are subwoofers) I have sitting around.

I have some DD 6.5 mid drivers on 150 rms each and love them. They are abit pricey at 200 a pair but you get what you pay for.
