Those are pretty, but one good imperfection in the road & they're toast. I wonder if they have a metal skeleton inside?

if i had them i would hope to god they had metal skeletons.CF is strong but to hold 2800lbs of car going into a corner at 70mph..

eh... it would give me that extra peace of mind knowing its not bare CF holding me up.

On NSX prime this company one of the members worked for made some CF rim barrels. They were selling for 2500-3000 each, but they lowered their prices a bit IIRC.

Actually if they made them right, they would be stronger than any other metal rim on the market.

Low grade CF is brittle. Aero grade on the other hand...

i thought the time difference between japan and america was about a year.

meaning it takes a year for us to find out about all the cool stuff japan's been up to.

I don't know about you guys, but I've known about these wheels for quite a while, but quickly dismissed them since I'll never afford them...

Probably because the light weight would make spinning your wheels even easier. Either that or epic sarcasm...
