now i can get a set of wheels 5zigen fno1rc the metallic ones with good tires on them. the offset is +35 17x8.

I have an s13 with megan coilovers, will it fit nicely or will i have to add spacers and a fender roll.

And also could i powerder coat them or paint them, or would it look bad.

Thanks

they'll fit. You don't need to roll your fenders cuz the wheels will be pretty sunken in

You should be fine. You also can get some skinny cheapo spacers from a local auto parts store. They won't be hub-centric (which is bad), but they are only like +3mm or +5mm. Also, you won't need new lugs. They're really just to fill in the gap, because with +35offset, your wheels will be pretty flush. Also, for the math-inclined, you can even calculate the difference. Say you're running on stock steelies now. Those are 15x6 +40mm offset. If you get two inch wider wheels, that adds one inch on the inside and outside of the width of the wheel. So you are one inch closer to the suspension. But some is cancelled by having a 5mm less offset. You get 25.4mm further in, subtract 5mm. You can safely put some cheapo 5mm spaces on. That means your new wheels are potentially 15.4mm (or about 5/8") further in than stock steelies. Then you can just go stick your finger in there and see how much room you have now.

P.S. CAR GURUS PLEASE CHECK THE FACTS IN THAT PARAGRAPH hehe.

also I think you should just leave them their original color. metallic silver looks good with any color car, and it's not going to fade or wear off.

im not quite sure what you just tried to say, but i think it resulted in saying theyll be more sunken than stock, which isnt true

however, theyll still be pretty sunken, and youll want to run a spacer both to make it look better and also if youd like anything wider than a 215 tire

nah not sunken. but not fender roll or anything. Assuming he's coming from stock steelies he'll be about 30mm (or 35mm with a little spacer) further out than he was

Those will fit perfect! You don't want your car looking like a spanish special anyways...

My brother has the same wheels in the same size and color (Not that it matters) and he has zero clearance issues. No pulling, rolling, spacers necessary. The front sit flush but the back is a little sunk. Also, he has Megan street coilovers and doesn't have clearance issues with that either.
