I'm looking at getting these wheels in either the 16x7 or 17x7. What is the smallest wheel I can get, and still clear Z32 rotors and calipers?

Do any of you guys have any experience with these wheels?

Z Brake calipers will fit behind a 15" wheel without any problems, so anything bigger than that will fit.

The biggest problem with the Z brakes is the offset and backspacing. The 5Chicken FN01 line is notorious on 240's with Z brakes because they have obscene amounts of backspacing. Really, if you get them with +35 or lower offset, you should be fine. IIRC, Nitekids has 17x9 +11 offset on his with Z32 Brakes and he has no problem.

Other common wheels that have lots of backspacing:

Volk TE37Enkei RP015Chicken FN01R-C'sKosei K1 (or Buddy Club P1)Black Racing N1 Pro's

EDIT: If you want to test fit, them or something, lets meet up again, and you can test fit it on my car (unless you are sticking to 4 lug). I am going to do my z32 brake conversion probably next weekend, so anytime after that, we can test fit them.

EDIT2:And I am putting S14 SE's on my car. Mmmm.. clear z brakes and coilovers, yummay.

EDIT3:Back to what I was saying about clearance issues, you need a balance of backspacing and offset. My S14 SE's for example, have a +40 offset, but they have a lot of backspacing, so they still clear Z brakes, but the general rule of thumb is +35 or lower.
