I found some really nice mesh wheels 16x8 et+25mm from a Pontiac Grand Prix. The onl thing is the are listed as 5x115. I am doing a z32 5-lug conversion and I was hoping these would fit.

Is it the same bolt pattern just rounded up? If not will they fit anyway (only 0.7mm pcd difference)?

anybody even ever tried?

http://www.wheelspacers.com will make you custom adapters.

Honestly, just find some other mesh wheels. There are about a million different kinds. My friend gus is selling a set right now with Dunlop FM901s on them.

ooh, I like this world!

0.7mm = half inch now? why didn't I get the memo? 16x8 +25 isn't exactly skinny on an s13. it's about as wide as you can go without fender mods.

LOL - I like his math. My pen15 is much larger in his world!

Look at a ruler 1mm is TINY, now imagine only 0.7mm. Dang it seems like for all intents and purposes 114.3 and 115 are the same size, just a diferent way of measuring them (i.e. 114.3 is measured in inches (4.5) and 115 is measured in mm)

I know my stock wheels seem to have a little wiggle room. has anybody ever tried just mounting them up?

Those sizes will work fine.

I'm picking up a set of 17x9 +15's all around tomorrow for my s13, and one of my friends is running 17x9 +7 rear +10 front; I'm almost positive I could get a 10" under the stock rear fenders, but I like having the same size all around. I am however, willing to make them fit. An 8 inch wheel should fit without any/many problems.

no worries man.

Actually, I have fit 5x112 on my J30 (5x114.3) already. Ghetto, I know, but it's a very cost effective way to upgrade your wheels. The ride was no different, but I used centering rings to ensure that the wheels were mounted in the center of the hub.No tire guy will recommend this. I am just offering my experience.

Wltyboy - Really? did you have to alter the wheel at all to make them fit?

Did you run the J30 very hard? Have any problems whatsoever? I think I will try to find some locally and test fit them.

thanks

My car is also lowered 1.5". The ride was much harder than with the stock 15" wheels. Also, the car tended to follow the grooves in the road.I think that over time runnung a smaller or larger wheel will in some way damage your studs. I have done the 5x112 thing twice on two different cars for short periods (kinda scared to keep them on).

5x115 is a GM bolt pattern that was used on W bodies and one other, and in no way should it be used on a vehicle w/ a 114.3 bolt spacing, unless of course you wan't a wheel-off at speed. same goes for putting a 112 on anything but a vehicle w/ a 112 spc.

I'd 5hit a brick if I knew that was on my car!
