5W- 20 Oil Viscosity???

Hey Gang,

I just had my first oil change performed this morning. I decided to go with Mobil 1 full synthetic on my coupe. After looking at my invoice it says Mobil1 5W-20 as oil used. I know the owners manual says to use 5W-30. My operating temp this time of year in Austin is from say 30- 80 degrees. How big of a deal is this if they did actually use the 5W-20.

For today only this Cowboys fan says Go Giants!

Your fine dude. The last number is the rating of you oil at operating temperatures. There are only minor differences between 20 and 30, not enough to put your car at any kind of risk in Texas.
