5spd swap ECU?

Ok, im finally doing it. 5spd swap in action. Ill be getting it done in about a month. I know where im getting all of my parts from, but i have a question about the ECU. My 240 is a 98. Do I need to get a 98 M/T ECU or can i do the swap with my A/T ECU without any problems?

u cana do it w/o manual ECU...i only heard of maybe some slight issues w/ cold starts...i know some guy selling one..the 3R ecu that you're looking for..

he might sell you the ECU for 50 bucks or less..make him an offer..good parts[edit] he is selling for 100...but i still guess its still negotiable
