Guess I shoulda done the research myself....live and learn.

The 89' driveshaft is 2 inches shorter and the center support bearing is about 6 inches forward of the 97's. So...Im not sure about other years, but.....

An 89' Driveshaft will NOT work in a 97' 5spd......Hey, at least it was cheap right?! $10! :thumbup

Sorry Dauntt if that was a lil' harsh..was'nt meant to be. You replied, which is more than anyone else did... Besides, maybe It'll help someone else out in the future!

Went to the dealership today to get the lowdown and here's what I found out. I didnt ask about the S13 driveshaft although in hindsight I shoulda...Apparently the S14 has 2 different driveshafts. One for 95'-02/97' and one for 03/97'-98.

Toodles!
