5spd auto transmission swap

Does any 5spd auto trans, Bolt to 94 4cyclinder (Engine #KA24 2389CC)The trans to be replaced is # RL4R01AI basicly, want to take a 4spd auto trans out.replace it with a 5spd atuo trans in.Any 5 spd auto trans match up?

I would have to say no. Why would you want to stay with an auto?

Most HB's are stick shift, I wish more of our cars were... I guess you could call Allison Transmission, pay them a million dollars to develop for you a 5 speed auto, and then pay someone else to install it for you. Sorry, I think you're SOL on this one.

I wanted auto trans, because,I have lower back trouble. I have a 5spd man.trans. In good shape (95 HB stick) Would that trans fit? what about the clutchpedal. Any threads on this?The engines in both trucks are the same (KA24 2389CC)The auto trans # RL4R01A The Man. trans # FS5W71C

Back problems are a good reason to want an auto, for sure. IDK about the swap, though. Good luck with your research!
