5sp s-13 swap questions

Ok guys, help please- I'm doing a 5 sp swap on my 93 240. The donor car is a 89 240. First, will the transmission from the KA24 bolt up to the KA24DE? Second, will the ECU from the 89 work on the 93 ? I was mainly wondering about the ECU because of the ignition and fuel injection systems. thanks-

I've been looking on e-bay for a clutch kit for my swap-and noticed that the kits are for 93-97 models- is there a difference in the transmission itself for the 89 model that I'm using or will a clutch kit for the 93 -97 model work?

I'm pretty sure 89-90 trannys use a different Bell housing. I cant remember if thats how it goes.

ive heard that theres a crank position sensor on the bellhousing for the 91-94 how that works i couldnt say but ive seen it posted and it doesnt affect the sohc.

dont need to change ecu, trans will work.

Well it will work but you'll throw codes like crazy if you dont change the ECU.
