hey guys, i may be getting my hands on a good power enterprise PE1420 turbo and and looking into bigger injectors, my motor came w/ the R32 GTR 444cc injectors inwhich i am running right now, but around how many hp are the 444's good for, one of my friends has a set of RC engeneering 550cc injectors out of his vr4 galant that he said he'd sell cuz he wants to go w/ 720's. he said he'd sell them to me for 150, and i just wanted to make sure that they are low empitence and all that crap, i know they will fit but it'll be a really tight squeeze. if i do get these injectors i'll have the GTR injectors for sale, but i just wana know how much the 444's can take before the motor will lean out to far. thanks alot for all your info

440's ~ 300hp550's ~ 350hp600's ~ 400hp720's ~ 500hp800's ~ 600hp1000's ~ 700hp

i say get teh 550's to be safe, you dont want to run your injectors at their max all the time when you turn up the boost.

Wait a second, you said the VR4's are side feeds. The CA use a top feed. KA and SR are side feeds. is the VR4 a side feed or not? If is IS a side feed you CANNOT use it on the CA.

It's cool, just wanted to make sure. I thought DSM's were topfeed, but I don't know much about vr4's.

evos or galant vr4 rs come with 510cc injectors if you are looking for a cheap option.

The Evos come with 510cc injectors, they have yellow tops. I'm 99% sure the Galant vr4s use the same 450cc injectors that the Eclipses do.

I fitted Evo 6 injectors to mine but they weren't a straight swap, i had to do a bit of messing with the manifold and fuel rail. The Evo 6&7 are 560's, they are a bit shorter and have twin jet pintle caps.

With this in mind and the quest for more power I went on the hunt for some bigger evo injectors and got some HKS(denso) 720's, which when they arrived were a straight swap for the original std CA injectors which is a bit odd.

that is weird. I think the std. and gtr's are from Bosch, the Evo6 looks like it's a Denso...

yeah the evo is denso, so are the HKS ones.THe std and gti-r say jecs on them IIRC. The 720's I have are identical to the std and gti-r ones only light blue, they are Denso.I'd take a picture but they are off being cleaned/flow tested.

Guys, I'm confused... I read now a bunch of Evo forums and they all say different - both high and low...

Here's what I have been told/read. The Evo's 1-3 used low imped 510cc injectors. The Evo's 4-8 use low imped 560cc injectors.
