Yeah, but 12K/year for that long is exceptional. We rarely pull out the GF's 63 Comet Convertible and it doesn't run as good as this one appears to. I hope that lady has more than the 2 speeds my GF has. Freeway driving sucks as does the gas mileage. It only comes out of the garage for shows and the occassional cruise.

I'm not sure what the gear ratios are. It feels a lot like 1st is geared somewhere between a typical 1st and 2nd gear and 2nd gear is like a low third gear. At 60 mph, the RPM's are a bit high. Feels like its waiting to shift. And its slow as all hell. I would love to stick a 4 speed in it, but I'm torn about molesting the original drivetrain. Especially since its not getting driven much. Though, the last owner replaced the seats with a set from the wrong car so its not fully original as far as parts go anyways. Still, we need to find the correct seats at some point. This set sits you way up high and I barely clear the steering wheel with my thighs and my eyes sit just below the top of the windshield.
