ok, so I got this turbo, in damned-like-new-condition (self verified like 1550ish miles on it), in trade for a whooped 28, and I'm curious if anyne is using one, or could look at the comp map and guess at it's useability on my dohc ka. tried myself, but plotting maps is not too familiar to me. full specs:

compressor: 54 trim t04e, unknown a/r comp. housing (t-netics)exhaust: stage 3 (t31?) in a .48 a/r housing

compressor map (best resolution I've found): http://www.blaastperformance.com/maps/t04e54

your link is dead....

form what i see.. the 54 trim on the comp side is good.. a 54 trim is at efficency on a ka-t around 14psi off the top of my head.. and you'll see the power prety quickly.

the .48a/r is extremely small for our cars , i dont know if it will choke up top... and the turbine wheels is pretty small if it fits a .48..

you could have a t3/t04e.. or if you have a straight t04e its probably its probably a 0-trim wheel out back..

all and all its will work decent on a ka-t if your not shooting for over 350whp..

thanks, guys. your imput is most appreciated. I was pretty hopeful about this turbo, and it's lookin it'll be right where I want it to be. (around 300ish whp)

2nr- def a t3 turbine side-stg 3/in the .48 a/r. some guys on ka-t have good results up to the 350ish whp area you mentioned, as well, so I'm feelin positive about usin it... if I decide to go higher I'll just upgrade to .63. the comp. side had me wondering tho since the map is so different from the vaulted 50 trim, so again- thanks.

myred- thanks for plotting that map, I was havin trouble doin that right. the surge line seemed steep, nice to see I'm not likely to be hitting it, even if it miraculously spools so fast as to flirt with it just a tad.
