I recently installed 2 530ts with my new alarm for one touch up and down control of all four window. When I installed another 530t for sunroof one touch it did not operate the same. With the switch wires connected and the motors wires connected, nothing happens. The switch will not work. When I connect only one of the motor wires (switches still connected) the sunroof will slide open or close depending which wire I touch. Also now the vent close wont work(it just clicks even with everything connected as factory without the module). Vent open works fine. Suggestions?

Wires tapped:Brown @ switch - slide openGreen @ switch - slide close

White, Blue, and Black were not touched

Hey can you give me some info on that setup for one touch up and down. I would like to do that to my LS.

If you can provide the exact diagram on how you wired it up I may be able to help. Sunroofs are often tricky to open/close with those controllers. Seems like they should be straight forward like the windows but they seldom are.

Oh, and what yr/mk/model are you talking about?

96 Q45 pictured in my sig.

Module wiring is pretty simple. Roof switch has brown wire for roof opening & green is for roof close. Module has two power wires & two signal wires which allow the power to go from either power/open or power/close to the roof switch wires brown or green.

Did you check the switch before you started to make sure that it was putting out + 12 volts and not ground? Most Japanese cars use ground to trigger accesories like door locks, trunk pop and sunroofs. And QSIGUY is correct, sunroofs usually have some type of "controller circut" that can be hard to work with especially if there is a vent function involved.

Witness account: The sunroof showed 12v only when opening or closing. Unlike the windows, it stops showing 12v after coming to a rest.
