Hi I recently imported a rough 521 from Queensland Australia, (to England) and I am trying to find the build month and year , we need this info to register it here, and theres no paperwork with this truck.

end of the VIN is 117634 if that helps

the grille looks like it is a earlyish model.

Not sure but the drivers door jamb under the latch is where it is in the US. Looking at the front fender the side marker lights look to be a 69. That style side marker lights were not shipped to the US as far as I know. Is this truck the J motor? L motors started in the US in 1970.

YEs J13. No plates on door jambs, (i have a USA spec 521 also so i know those)
THey never got L engines in Australia (or maybe anywhere else outside USA in the 521)

I agree its probably a 69. Interesting that there's no side marker lights.

Managed to get it registered now. Phew! Been doing a ton of work on it, brakes mainly (new everything) Drove it today!
