Just got back from Little Rock, AR.. after towing the race car all night long. What a trip! The car made some pretty good numbers... However, on our last pull, at 26psi, when we squeezed on the nitrous.. the rear end started making all sorts of racket and we had to get out of the gas. At this point.. we were at 5300rpm.. The power was at 512whp and 460ft lbs of TQ. Very disappointing.. since we still had 2500rpm left to go, and surely would have made mid 600's. :) Here's a breakdown of some numbers the car made.. Don is emailing me the files for the dyno charts today.. so I'll have those later..

14psi, no nitrous, pump gas- 380whp/312ft lbs

14psi, 75 shot, race gas- 485whp/425ft lbs

26psi, 75 shot, race gas- 512whp/460ft lbs (@ 5300rpm, shut down)

So close.... :( I've got some work to do on it.. I'll be fixing the rear end, and few other knick knack things before going back to the dyno. 600's is just around the corner. :)

Thanks guys... I'm actually doing a bunch more stuff to the motor.. I yanked the head off last night, and I've got a highport head that I'm putting on. I've also got a Greddy short runner intake manifold for the S13 head. I'm realy thinking that the S14 head was killing my power. That, and the LONG runners on the S14 mani. I'm going to be building a short runner equal length exhaust manifold as well. I'm going to go dyno.. and make pulls with the log.. then switch over to the equal length to see how much more power it makes.
