All you have to do is go to any auto parts and take the belt you have now and ask them to find you the smaller size that you need. Do you have an adjustable pulley were the power steering use to go? If so when I get home I will check the belt that I tried to use with and after market pulley and let you know what I have. If you have pics of your car you should post some. Later.

i actually bought a tensioner that bolts to the block where the ps pump was. I am not using it anymore because i changed to an electric water pump. I could sell it to you if interested: [email protected]

i planning to go to the wrecking yards this week see if i find some 240sx i bough my 510 with the ka24de swap started but im still new to 510s and the ka24de i think it may have a frankenstein alt pulley ( it has one three rib belt running the alt and a two rib belt running the water pump) and if it had tensioners ther missing. unortadox did tell me to take a measurement with a string to the auto parts stores but they could not find eny in the size i needed either to big or to small im thinking of going with electric water pump?... But are the tensioners you guys have a aftermarket part or a factory part ? the water pump belt i have now is a dayco 5030268 and it just berly slips need just 1/2'' smaller next size down is 2'' smaller

the tensioner is a custom part. Many ppl do it different ways but i just took the original part that went there to a machinist and had him fab up a tensioner with the same bolt pattern so it could bolt to the block.

There is a guy selling pulley sets wer you eliminate the power steering pulley and only use the crank, water pump and the alternater and you adjust with the alternater pulley. If interested I will give you his #. Located in Pomona Ca.
