I found has a pretty comprehensive list with info and links to 51 political parties

http://www.politics1.com/parties.htm

and candidates

http://www.politics1.com/p2008.htm

The site appears to be very nonpartisan except for the owner's personal blog. He is a Democrat but you would never know by looking around the site.

I found it fun just perusing and linking through to some of the really "out there" fringe parties. Many I wasn't aware existed.

I figure I can always benefit from a comprehensive site like this. Makes it easy. Plus, I always want to be better informed about what's out there, even if it's nowhere close to my position on anything.

The party links here are constantly being updated with the addition of new parties, news, etc. It is worth checking out from time to time to keep up with things.
