Hi everybody, My car is a R34 gtt, and it has trouble going over 5000 rpm. The only mod I have is a cat back exhaust. The fuel pressure is at 32-34psi @ idel and about 42ish @ 4500rpm , and the flow seems also correct. I think it might be;

- the variable timing or- the ecu

what do u think?

This is actualy the test fourm, for testing posts and signatures.....You might wanna try in the skyline forum or the RB forum

I would guess that it could be some kind of ECU safemode, but you may want to be more clear about "does not want to rev over 5000 rpm"Do you mean it looses power over 5k, does is it like a rev limiter feeling where fuel/spark seem to be getting cut...ect...

Have you tried resetting the ECU? I had a similar problem. I fixed it by simply unplugging my negative terminal on the battery and pressing the brake pedal for 1 minute... nm, I have a GTS-T...

this probably wouldn't work for you heh, good luck though
