Looking into getting BD turbo kit pretty soon. Just curious though, i tried searching and absolutely no answers. What is the difference between t3/t4 50 and 57 trim. Everyone says they prefer 50, but what is the difference?

The 57 trim will work just fine, but the 50 trim is more efficient then the 57 for a larger range. How much boost are you going to run?

And the 57 trim will flow more air. It also effects where the turbo is efficient at.

I'm only looking at running daily around 230hp and possibly every once in awhile at the track up to around 280. But mostly just 230 like i said. I am thinking about just getting the t3 super 60, but on my searches, I read a lot about the t3 will run much hotter than the t3/t4. So, i just am trying to get as much knowledge as possible. Turbo is a big decision.
