My MAF looks like it is going out or something and I am going turbo soon.

The thing is, I almost have the new 50# injectors, fuel rail, fuel pump, Cobra MAF and JWT retune. If I installed all of this on my N/A car, what would be the consequences? I'm sure it would run fine on low throttle, but what about high? Would it just bog and die? Or would it run fine?

I really don't want to spend the money on another S13 MAF since I am so close to upgrading anyways. Arrgh...

I would think you would have more trouble with idle and low throttle than with high throttle. The injector pulses would be really short and might run really rough. I am running 450cc injector with a SAFC II and that is kinda what I am experiencing. I just turned up the idle a bit. I should be putting on my turbo when I get back from the beach the week after next. Yipppe!!

If you have the ECU retuned to run 50# injectors i guess you'd be fine in the low end, since the turbo doesn't produce any positive pressure at idle and JWT would adjust your idle mixture. I would think that once you got in the mid range your car would ran crazy rich though since there's no boost, it might even bog down and stall like you said. If you kept your stock ECU things would probably be worse. A junkyard MAF should be pretty cheap, $20-$30, if they ask you what car you pulled it from say a Sentra of something like that, the salesperson won't want to charge you as much, believe me, and he won't know the difference. :)
