50 dollar 91 coupe

thought that i would just put this out to see what kind of responses i would get. No more than a year ago i noticed a 91 240sx coupe sitting outside of my mechanics shop for like 3 months, just chillin. well i have been wanting an extra car for so long just to work on and modify, especially a 240 and decided that i would ask my mechanic whos it was. Well one day i got fired from my job and was riding home all pissed off and sh## and in a sudden moment i pulled over to the shop parking lot to see why the car had been sitting there for so long. I asked my mechanic, and he told me that he was getting ready to take it to the junk yard becasue the owner did not want to mess with the blown engine, i thought to myself (well well). To make a long story short, i obtained the number of the owner, phoned him and in less than 3 hours later i was at the bank getting the title noterized. And all for 50 dollars!!!!!!!!!!! can you believe that? Now i have the project car ive always wanted without burning a hole in my pocket. Go figure! now that i look at it I have never been so happy to have gotten fired from my job in my entire life.:ylsuper :icesangel

Although i dont have a scanner or digital camera right now. However, i will try to get some soon. Maybe my girl will let me borrow hers. Anyway, yea it was definatly a great deal i was suprised myself. I guess i was just at the right place at the right time.

haha o man im jealous. thats the exact car i paid 500$ for!!! well, mine had a working ka though..... youd be surprised how much you can restore a cheapo car like that take it from me

man i got jiped, i payed $4000 for my 89 240sx, of coures i got it from a major dealer it only had 80K miles on it and its in like perfect condition, ive never seen a cleaner engine bay in a car befor, but they did fully detail it lol, o well to me that was a good price i love it any way

o and it came with thos rims in the pic, enki (sry if missspelled) 15's, hey they are nice for not haveing to but them myself lol

o and woot i got to 100 posts

i paid 3 even for mine, had some miles but inside outside and under the hood the ****er was spotless

yea i got the car in perfect condition, except for the engine of course. However, the only thing wrong with it was the windsheild has a small crack and the dash has a crack in it which i hear is pretty commen deal with older 240's.

yeah... I am on my way out to buy a 90 coupe to strip for parts.

Yes we will be posting pics of the cacked up Car... Volks are already off it... hoping to get them repaired...stock wheels are on now... pretty sad...they are about half folded under the car

but project 240resurected begins next saturday with the wreck wheelman on the wrenches for the first time... "search his fate is in your hands " for the detailed thread If he wrecks it again I will give to some deserving 240sx.org guy... It will have a brand new motor and 5 speed along with AGX and prokit... so there will be lots of good parts if he stacks it up again... but lets just hope he takes care of it...
