5 zigen fireball

hey do you guys know if the 5 zigen fireball exhaust system gives the slant look? I have a 95.

i think every cat back system for the 240 gives the slanted look a little...unless u get custom piping...

The muffler won't, but you can just get a bit more piping and do it yourself.The cat-back system should though.

im getting my 5zigen muffler with 2.25'' pipes put on monday. i was thinking about having it tilted a little upwards or slanted out to the side a little. what do yall think???

i think their is a beneficial reason to having the exhaust at a slant/diagonal direction

i'm glad the cat back 5zigen Fireball is at a slant, 'cause i'm getting it soon! whoo! that exhaust looks sweet.

He has an SR20DET in his S14, therefor he HAS the right to put GTR or whatever emblem the hell he wants to.

Either, a) less piping to decrease cost, b) decrease distance exhaust must travel, or c) something is in the way so the piping can't be fabricated to make it straight.

I'm not quite sure, but I'll bet its one of those.

it cant be c, because there are many exhausts that come out straight.

anyone with this exhaust on their s13 fastback have pics? i would like to see how it looks, and determine how i want mine. thanks.

The piping is angled to make it as straight as possible...Lsnaple, get 2.5" piping if you can...would be better....also I think getting it pointed upward would look great, 1)cause it will sit closer to the bumper, 2) clearance will be better, and 3) you will be able to see more of the muffler giving it a better look! Where are you getting your pipng done?

sharpsburg muffler, a local shop about 5 mins from my house. the manager or owner or whatever the guy is, is awesome. hes done many of my friends cars and my dads car and truck. he charges about $100 to put on your muffler to whatever size pipe (not exactly, but close enough) and put it on how you like it.

he put on my friends apexi n1 on his 91 240 with 2.25 pipes,and it looks and sounds great.i dont really know about the performance of it because i cant remember how it drove before and after.

i cant wait. tomorrow i pick up my car from getting a new clutch (stock, unfortunately) and then im driving over to get that put on! its supposed to sound real mean, and give nice performance.ill report back tomorrow to tell everybody how it is!

EDIT: hopefully i get it on tomorrow.i should, but i might not happen. wish me luck.

If you check your factory exhaust on the s14, the pipe right before the exhause makes a S which constricts (sp) alot of air. My factory muffler fell off and I put a racing muffler on temporarly till I get my cat back system and I got it angled to get rid of the S. I noticed quite a difference in power.

I put that emblem on cause some a**hole came by and cracked it off 2 1/2 years ago. I saw the emblem before it got popular with the rice crowd and it fit perfect.

Plus.....its fun when people who dont know s*** about imports ask what kind of car it is, or ask if its a Skyline.

Nothing about my ride is jacked up.......DUMMY.

he qualifies for that badge ONLY if 1) he has an RB under the hood, and 2)if its a skyline(which its not). But whatever creams his twinkie is up to him

Dude I don't think he's a ricer, I think he's car is really sweet, nice paint, sweet engine, but the emblems gotta go. I know guys who have **** like a civic with a b16b engine put type R emblems on the car, it's still not a type R though. It could have every little knick-knack from a type R on that car, but I will still never be a type R. Just my opinion, I'm not hating, but I just think his car would look cleaner without it is all.
