5" tachometer install??

hello i have a 92 sentra xe and my tach has wiresof black - negitive red - when key is turned on tach works (shift light) and then white is car lights so tach lights up and green is for it to work anyone know where i hook this up 2? my sentra dont have a tach already on its gauge cluster..thanks for help

just get a power test light and probe the wires behind the light switch.. when your parking lights / gauges come on, thats the right one..

no the green goes to that tach signal. if you have a coil it goes to the negative side of the coil. the negative pulse is your signal wire
