5 speed vs. 5 speed

hey i dropped a 1993 motor AND transmission into my 1990 chassis. No problems.I was assuming that i would be able to use a 1990 5 speed in a 1994 vert WITH A 1993 KA24DE engine.

just to make it clear that you know what im asking, I am wondering if putting a 1990 5 speed transmission with a 1993 ka motor will work? this set up will be going into my convertible untill more funds are available.

i think its all the same, but i dont want to go through with the whole thing if it dosent work...

It works. Direct bolt-on, but try to get newer 5-speed transmission if possible since it should be in better condition than 1990's.
