Hey everyone. I have a 1989 240SX Automatic and a 1989 240SX 5 speed. They are both S13's. I wanna swap the Auto. with the 5 speed transmission because the 5 speed 240 is just a parts car. So can anyone help me out and tell me the steps and procedures I need to take to swap them correctly? I would appreciate it alot if someone can do that for me. Thanx for your guys's time.

always, Boris

P.S. If any one needs any extra parts let me know and Ill see what I can do for you!!

check out 240sx.org, they've got the parts listed for the s14, but it's basically the same as the s13. Get those parts, follow the directions. Then the wiring will be here http://www.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=77784

You might want to look into investing into a factory service manual. Its not too hard just start in and when you come to a problem ask. Thats how I did my first one.

If you haven't try this by tenkawa_akito

i did the swap on my auto car when i dropped in my redtop. i wish i could walk you through the process but its different on different cars. i had to troubleshoot a manual swap for a freind and it was different than mine. the only fullproof method is to get the service manual and do it the long way. i will tell you that just getting power from the ign switch to the starter is funny. you have to find the right 2 pin connector and then route the wires correctly.
