Ok this is driving me crazy. I've read up basically everywhere I can find, and I'm pretty sure that the reason my engine is not cranking is because I never looped/jumpered the neutral saftey switch when I did my AT-->MT swap.
Thing is, I simply CANNOT find the right wires that I need to splice together. I've searched the FSM, asked lots of people etc etc. To make matters worse, in the effort of neatness I cut off the automatic transmission plugs from the back of the fuse box and taped them all up. They look good when all tucked away, but now it is impossible to find the correct "plug" simply by a description of the plug's original orientation. Here's a pic to show you guys what I mean:
As you can see I really have no idea what wire went to what anymore.
Now, I need to know: is the neutral saftey switch or whatever located on that (rear) side of the fuse box, or is it attached to the DRIVER'S side of the fuse box, like here:
I am thinking that it could be this plug also, that I am holding there (black/yellow and white). Note that the plug is turned around backwards to more easially show the wire...
What do you guys think? Any kind of info regarding wire orientation or color would REALLY be helpful. Note this is on a 1993 automatic S13.
Thanks guys!!
